Promote your game in Thumbrot
Thumbrot is an iPhone game made of 5-second microgames in an endless vertical feed. Now and then, between microgames, players who don't have Premium or Remove Ads see a full-screen card for another developer's game. We swap these cards for free: your game in our feed, Thumbrot in yours.
How a swap works
- Send us your game by email with the materials listed below.
- We check it: the game is live on the App Store, the art is clean, and the game suits a general audience.
- We agree the dates and you show a card for Thumbrot in your app for the same period.
- Your card goes live on the start date, by each player's local date: the game checks for new cards when it starts, at most once an hour, so players get it the next time they launch Thumbrot, with no app update.
- You see the results in your own App Store Connect: give us an App Store campaign link (App Analytics › Campaigns) and Apple counts the page views and downloads it brings.
What to send
- Your app icon: a 1024 × 1024 PNG.
- A 9:16 picture (1080 × 1920 PNG or JPG) or a short looping MP4 of the same size, without sound and under 5 MB. Keep text and key art out of the top 25% and the bottom 35%, where the game's bar, the labels, your game's name and the Get button sit, and keep about 10% clear on each side, which taller iPhones crop. The card template marks these areas.
- The game's name, the developer name and one short line about the game (up to 50 characters).
- Your App Store campaign link.
- The start and end dates you'd like.
How your card appears
- Full screen, between microgames, with a Sponsored label and a Report button always visible.
- Your picture or video, icon, name and line, and a Get button that opens your App Store page.
- Players skip it with a swipe, like any other card. There is no countdown, and nobody gets coins or rewards for tapping or installing.
- At most one card in every 10, never the same game twice within 20 cards, and at most 3 times per session.
What we can't accept
- Games that aren't live on the App Store yet.
- Misleading pictures or claims, or art made to look like a Thumbrot microgame or a system alert.
- Content that isn't suitable for a general audience, including real-money gambling.
